LANDSCAPE & GARDEN CLUB OF THE VILLAGES (HOME tab)
Welcome! This is a vibrant monthly club where we share information on how to grow in The Villages. We cover all aspects of gardening, including landscaping. Topics vary from those meant for newcomers to our area, to experienced gardeners who have lived here for a while. We are centrally located within The Villages, for easy access regardless of whether you live in the northern, central, or southern portion of our large community.
Peruse our website for more information. Sign up for our email list on the Meetings tab.

Meeting Details
Club meetings are held the first Friday of every month (September through May),
1pm at Rohan Recreation Center in The Villages (850 Kristine Way, bordering SR-44).
Doors open for pre-meeting activities at 12:30pm.
Meetings are limited to 135 people due to room capacity.
Besides a monthly speaker, we also offer pre-meeting activities listed below.
Raffle
Meeting entry cost is free, but we encourage you to participate in our $1 meeting raffles,
which are used to obtain outside speakers. Usually these are items related to
the monthly topic and can include beautiful container gardens, landscape plants,
houseplants, herbs/vegetables, native plants, tools, or garden center gift cards.
Galloping Gardener
This is a special feature of the club, whereby several times a year we do field trips to various botanical gardens,
garden centers, or other interesting local areas. Members sign up at the meeting, and headcount is limited to 25
participants. Volunteers offer to drive from Rohan Rec Center, and this special day usually includes a nearby lunch.
See examples of past trips below.
